My stay at Ventana Big Sur Resort was mostly exceptional, with stunning views of the Pacific and an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, especially at the Sur House restaurant where dinner was delightful. However, I did experience some bumps with service during my stay, particularly at the pool, which sometimes felt chaotic. The private redwood hike and luxurious amenities were fantastic additions that enhanced my experience significantly.

The rooms boast a masculine and natural design, complete with luxurious amenities, but they did not quite meet our expectations considering the high price point. While the views from our room were magnificent, the service fell short in many areas, leading to moments of frustration during our stay.
